Pride Festival

In 2015, after a 10 year hiatus, the board of the Davis Phoenix Coalition revived the community celebration event formally known as the Yolo County Lesbian and Gay Picnic Day.  Davis Pride is Yolo county’s largest LGBTQ celebration for the community by the community.

Davis Pride is a series of all inclusive family friendly celebration events for members and supporters of the LGBTQ+ community.

Ned suggested that we go to the festival for lunch.  It was a perfect idea.  He came with folding chairs and an umbrella and got us sets up under a big tree, where we could see the stage where performers were performing.

There were rainbow "things" everywhere, including the fur of a dog that people who walked by us had.  Ned got a picture of the dog.

What a great afternoon it was!  With grass, a walker and my problems walking, I couldn't walk around and see all the booths, but I had a great  time just looking at people.
