I am writing this at 4:30 p.m. and the weather app tells me it's 111 degrees outside. I'm getting kind of used to these 3-digit temps. I remember summers where we might have one or two 3-digit temps in a week and then later on, some other week we might have another 3-digit day. But we are now going in to...what?...the third week? of daily triple digits.
Death Valley was 124 recently and a guy died from the heat. They feel that Death Valley will reach the hottest recorded temperature -- ever in the world -- this summer,
And they say there is no climate change.
Ned finished our Pop Culture puzzle yesterday and today I received a puzzle from a Facebook friend who knows we work puzzles. She sent us the Sistine Chapel ceiling, which looks like it's going to be harder than the Pop Culture was, especially since there is no picture with it, other than what is on the box, to help us see where the pieces go.
We never went to the Vatican in our travels, so at least I'll be able to see what the Sistine Chapel ceiling looks like!
